A7R6, probably 10 times faster than the A7R4, but half the speed of A1. Nevertheless, I love megapixels, so I am very willing to trade the speed for the 30% extra megapixel. It has been with my GM600 and TC1.4x for birding since day 1 I collected the camera. If your wildlife work are essentially speed work like kingfisher dives, otherwise, like me, 80% of the time I am dealing with not so high speed work, and A7R6 is very much capable of doing. The latest subject recognition AI seems smarter and faster in picking up the right subject and at the eye. It may acquire the target from totally out of focus a bit slower, or may drop off if bird is too fast, but otherwise for my work it is fast enough. Rolling shutter is definitely not as good as A1 for certain background.
But the picture quality due to the extra megapixels, wow!!!
